Dataset of Real-World Deepfake Incidents

The dataset includes the current deepfake-related incidents collected from various global news reports and internet media. The key attributes of the dataset include incident description, incident year, deepfake type (Image/ Video/Audio/Multiple), loss/impact of deepfake, targeted person in deepfake, region, and reporting resource of deepfake. The dataset contains 105 incidents real world incidents with reported news/media sources. Grievance forms on worldwide social platforms. A consolidated repository has been prepared to provide a holistic view of incidents occurring pertaining to deepfakes around the globe.
