Japan Oceanographic Data Center (JODC)

日本海洋数据中心（JODC）是日本的综合性海洋数据银行，隶属于日本海上保安厅水路与海洋部门。该中心成立于1965年，收集和管理日本各政府机构、大学及海洋研究机构的海洋观测数据，并确保数据质量后向用户提供。自1965年起，JODC一直担任联合国教科文组织政府间海洋学委员会（UNESCO/IOC）国际海洋数据与信息交换（IODE）体系的日本国家海洋数据中心。

The Japan Oceanographic Data Center (JODC) is Japan's comprehensive marine data repository, affiliated with the Waterways and Marine Department of the Japan Coast Guard. Founded in 1965, the center collects and curates marine observation data from various Japanese government agencies, universities and marine research institutions, and provides the data to users after ensuring its quality. Since 1965, JODC has served as Japan's national marine data center for the International Oceanographic Data and Information Exchange (IODE) system under the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC) of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
