Checklist of Canadian Nematodes

There are nearly 30,000 slides and 5000 vials of over 88,000 roundworm specimens in the Canadian National Collection of Insects, Arachnids, and Nematodes (CNC). This checklist is based on a subset of CNC’s nematode (roundworm) accessions from Canada’s provinces and territories. This checklist is not exhaustive; nematodes regulated by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency are purposefully removed from this compilation. Scientific names were cross-referenced against valid and accepted names indicated in Nemys, the World Database of Nematodes.
