Data used to produce the figures of the article "Exploiting depth-resolved observations from Argo floats and ships for a fresh approach to model evaluation of the ocean carbon cycle"

These data were used to produce the figures in the article "Exploiting depth-resolved observations from Argo floats and ships for a fresh look on model evaluation of the ocean carbon cycle". Model and observation data files are defined per biomes and there are four types: {biome}_int1dB_lin06102025_depth.nc, the BGC-Argo profiles in one biome, interpolated on a regular depth grid. {biome}_sel_argo032025.nc, the FESOM-REcoM outputs subsampled on the BGC-Argo profiles. {biome}_sel_glodap032025_pCO2o.nc, the FESOM-REcoM outputs subsampled on the GLODAP profiles. GLODAP_{biome}_interp032025_pCO2o.nc, the GLODAP profiles in one biome, interpolated on a regular depth grid. Each biome file contains all variables used in this study. Python codes used for this study are named after the figure they plot.
