资源简介:
This dataset contains audio recordings and ELAN transcriptions of the Ikawa dialect, spoken in the northern mountainous area of Shizuoka City, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. The Ikawa dialect is spoken in one of the most geographically isolated areas of central Japan, at the headwaters of the Ooi River.
The recordings were made on December 20, 1988, in Tashiro, Shizuoka City, by Nakajoo Osamu (Faculty of Liberal Arts, Shizuoka University). The session features a two-person conversation between two native speakers — Takinami Yoshi (b. 1899) and Takinami Mamoru (b. 1928) — on the topic of mochiko, the traditional practice of carrying heavy goods on one's back along mountain paths.
The dataset includes the original WAV recording, an ELAN annotation file (.eaf), a plain-text transcript with interlinear glosses and Japanese translations (91 utterances), and a set of 91 sentence-segmented audio files for both speakers.
ELAN annotations were prepared by Iwakuma Konan (Kyushu University).
Data were collected by Nakajoo Osamu† (Faculty of Liberal Arts, Shizuoka University).
