This study constructs a refined operational decision-making model by real-time monitoring of the dynamic gap between the refund rate of single children’s raincoats products and the average refund rate of the entire Tmall store. On one hand, for high-quality products whose refund rate is notably lower than the store average, an additional 30% to 50% of the advertising budget can be allocated for precise targeting, focusing on maternal and infant vertical communities and outdoor scenario marketing. On the other hand, root cause analysis is conducted on abnormal refund data to inversely guide product design optimization and detail page information enhancement. This analysis paradigm is not only applicable to children’s outdoor equipment categories, but also provides full-platform merchants with a standardized operational closed-loop of "data alert - root cause analysis - strategy iteration", reducing marketing waste while improving user repurchase rates and driving healthy growth in the maternal and infant segmented market. 1. Data Collection and Processing: User order data from May 1, 2024 to May 31, 2024 is collected from the database of the company’s Tmall channel management system, including order number, purchased goods, product quantity, order payable amount, order status, analysis time period and other relevant data. Sensitive information is encrypted, and the data is processed, desensitized, screened, counted and analyzed. 2. Algorithm Rules: Calculation and analysis are performed on the collected data. The total order volume is the sum of the order volumes of each product during the analysis period. The average refund rate = total closed order volume / total order volume; the refund rate of children’s raincoats = number of closed orders for children’s raincoats / number of orders for children’s raincoats.
