IRF2BP2 knockout (IRF2BP2-KO) in a normal human fetal hepatocyte L02 cell line was approached using the CRISPR-Cas9 technique. IRF2BP2-KO and control IRF2BP2-KO-CON L02 cells were stimulated with 0.4 mM palmitic acid for 0 h or 12 h, respectively, to induce hepatosteatosis in vitro. Digital gene expression profiles in each of the four group were determined to dissect the role of IRF2BP2 in hepatic steatosis.
