WiSig is a large-scale WiFi signal dataset created by the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of California, Los Angeles. It contains 10 million data packets, which were captured four times within one month using 174 commercially available WiFi transmitters and 41 USRP receivers. This dataset aims to support research on wireless channel and receiver-agnostic radio frequency fingerprinting, and it is made more accessible by providing preprocessed data subsets and related scripts. The application fields of the WiSig dataset include wireless network security, specifically improving the security of wireless networks via radio frequency fingerprinting technology to address the limitations of traditional authentication methods.
