Murine model for measuring effects of humanized-dosing of antibiotics on the gut microbiome

The goal of this study was to identify which organisms in the mouse gut microbiome show resistance to piperacillin-tazobactam (TZP) when administered with a humanized dosing regimen. TZP is widely used to treat infections and it is of interest to understand the effects of this treatment on the microbiome.
