Tea is one of the most popular non-alcoholic beverages consumed worldwide. Numerous bioactive constituents of tea were confirmed to possess healthy benefits via the mechanisms of regulating gene expressions or protein activities. However, a complete interacting profile between tea bioactive compounds (TBCs) and their target genes is lacking, which put an obstacle in the study of healthy function of tea. To fill this gap, we developed a database of target genes of TBCs (TBC2target, http://camellia.ahau.edu.cn/TBC2target) based on a pharmacophore mapping approach

茶是全球最受欢迎的非酒精饮品之一。茶中存在大量生物活性成分，经证实可通过调控基因表达或蛋白质活性的途径发挥健康益处。但目前仍缺乏茶生物活性成分（tea bioactive compounds, TBCs）与其靶基因之间的完整互作图谱，这成为茶健康功能研究的一大阻碍。为填补这一研究空白，我们基于药效团映射方法，搭建了茶生物活性成分靶基因数据库（TBC2target，http://camellia.ahau.edu.cn/TBC2target）。
