This dataset contains Raman spectra of ten commonly used plastic types, acquired using a handheld Raman spectrometer with a 785 nm excitation laser. Measurements were performed across a spectral range of 3400–200 cm⁻¹, with varying laser powers (10–100%) to account for spectral variability. Each plastic type is represented by multiple spectra collected from samples differing in color, opacity, and thickness. The dataset was developed to support machine learning applications in plastic classification and identification. All files are provided in .txt format.
