Accordingly, a novel concept of "willingness to wait longer" is extracted. Through three questionnaire surveys, this paper explores the mechanisms how film narratives and article brand love affect tourists' willingness to wait longer. This research revealed that film narratives exhibit a sustained long-term transportation effect, significantly influencing tourists' willingness to wait longer at the theme park across various stages. Meanwhile, destination brand love exerts a varying impact on tourists' willingness to wait longer across different stages. Moreover, during the travel experience stage, flow experience plays a crucial mediating role. Furthermore, during both the travel decision-making and travel experience stages, the scene replication degree positively moderates the relationship between film narratives and tourists' willingness to wait longer.
