Regional Usage - Electricity

The Regional Usage Electricity data collection shows a visual representation of residential electricity consumption for the Wollongong, Kiama, Shellharbour, Shoalhaven, and Wingecarribee Local Government Areas (LGAs). The electricity consumption data temporal coverage is between January 2006 and June 2011 on a monthly basis. Users can filter the data by the LGA level, postcode level, and down to SA1 level. They can also filter by year and by season. Users can see the relationship between the residential electricity consumption data, residential water consumption data, waste (solid, green, recycle), population and dwelling structures for given geographic and temporal scales. Note. 1. The original electricity consumption data is given at Census Collection District (CCD) level. The data at the LGA and Postcode level are aggregated from the original data. The SA1 level data is generated through ABS CD to SA1 correspondence mapping. 2. The consumption data at all given levels (LGA, Postcode, SA1) are approximate values due to geographic boundary overlaps.
