This repository contains the supplementary files for the JGR: Solid Earth submission "Controls of Dynamic and Static Stress Changes and Aseismic Slip on Delayed Earthquake Triggering: Application to the 2019 Ridgecrest Earthquake Sequence" by Jeena Yun (j4yun@ucsd.edu), Alice-Agnes Gabriel, Dave A. May, and Yuri Fialko. -------------- SeisSol Simulations --------------[Code availability]- The open-source software SeisSol is available at https://github.com/SeisSol/SeisSol. - We use the SeisSol commit tag [e6ef661] in the master branch. [File structure]: The input files for all 16 dynamic rupture models are provided under the [seissol_inputs] directory.> [seissol_inputs] > [ssaf_dipping_fast] : contains input files for DFI simulations. > [ssaf_dipping_slow] : contains input files for DSI simulations. > [ssaf_vert_fast] : contains input files for VFI simulations. > [ssaf_vert_slow] : contains input files for VSI simulations. > [scripts] : contains useful python scripts for handeling SeisSol outputs. > run_SeisSol.sh : shell script to run SeisSol models in the SuperMUC-NG cluster. > readme.txt : describes details on each input file. [Computational Resources]: SeisSol simulations were conducted on the supercomputing cluster SuperMUC-NG, hosted at the Leibniz Supercomputing Center (https://www.lrz.de/). -------------- Tandem Simulations --------------[Code availability]- The open-source software Tandem is available at https://github.com/TEAR-ERC/tandem. - We use dmay/seas-checkpoint branch (commit 1dc36db; https://github.com/TEAR-ERC/tandem/tree/dmay/seas-checkpoint) for aging law simulations and jyun/state-law branch (commit 5d5c63f; https://github.com/TEAR-ERC/tandem/tree/jyun/state_laws) for slip law simulations. [File structure]: The input files for selected seismic cycle models are provided under the [tandem_inputs] directory.> [tandem_inputs] > [fractal_profiles] : contains ascii files of fractal profiles (see [Section 2.2] in the paper). > [mesh] : contains example meshes used in this study. > [perturbed] : contains example input files for perturbed Tandem simulations (see [Section 2.3] in the paper). > [seissol_outupts] : contains examplary stress perturbations computed using SeisSol simulations. > [unperturbed] : contains example input files for unperturbed Tandem simulations (see [Section 2.2] in the paper). > ridgecrest.cfg : contains all PETSc options used for our Tandem simulations. > run_unperturbed.sh : shell script to run unperturbed Tandem models in the LMU cluster. > run_perturbed.sh : shell script to run perturbed Tandem models in the LMU cluster.
