There are three files and a reference list:<b>Supplementary Data 1</b>: The observed above- and belowground NPP data at the 725 NPP<sub>data</sub> sites (NPP and fBNPP Data.csv). <b>Supplementary Data 2</b>: The depth distribution of root biomass at the 559 Root<sub>data</sub> sites (Root Data.csv). <b>Supplementary Data 3</b>: Estimated C<sub>age</sub> and C<sub>bulk</sub> at the 3,128 measurements at the 750 soil radiocarbon profiles (14C Data.csv). <b>Supplementary Data 4</b>: The 54 studies from which the NPP<sub>data</sub> were derived (Reference_NPP Data.docx).code.7z: Code to perform the data analysis in R <br><br>
