UEIKAP_DATASET

UEIKAP is an open-source dataset for ship wake detection in satellite imagery, developed within the project “Unveil and Explore the In depth Knowledge of Earth Observation Data for Maritime Applications” (UEIKAP). This first release includes two subsets: (i) an optical dataset based on Sentinel-2 image chips with corresponding labels and AIS data, and (ii) a SAR dataset based on Sentinel-1 image chips with corresponding labels, JSON annotations, GeoTIFF images, and interpolated AIS data. The dataset is intended to support research on wake detection, maritime surveillance, and multimodal Earth Observation. In this version, the optical GeoTIFF folder is included as a placeholder and will be populated in a future update.
