Raw Data of the <i>White Papers on Human Rights in China</i> and the <i>Records and Reports on Human Rights Violations in the United States</i>

The study built two collections of Chinese government documents: ten <i>White Papers on Human Rights in China</i> (2016–2021; about 125,670 characters) and ten <i>Reports on Human Rights Violations in the United States</i> (2017–2024; about 90,053 characters). Using computer-assisted text analysis and a metaphor identification method, we extracted metaphorical surface frames, non-metaphorical surface frames, and inferred deep frames based on their co-occurrence patterns across the corpora.
