Paired end RNA sequencing of meiotic drive expressors and the reciprocal cross (which don't express) will be used to compare expression levels. The RNA-seq data are to be mapped against the Aedes egypti reference genome as well as assembled de novo and the number of reads per RNA cluster used for quantification.
