Dataset: Baseline Survey Data on Organisational, Technological, and Environmental Factors - Digital Technology Adoption for Agri-Food Transparency and Traceability

This dataset contains baseline survey data collected within the Horizon Europe CUES project. The survey focuses on organisations in agri-food value chains and examines their use of digital technologies to increase transparency, traceability, and trustworthiness. The dataset includes information on organisational adoption readiness, perceived technology fit, environmental and value-chain factors, collaboration patterns, organisational profile, position in the value chain, main activities, and the types of data gathered and shared for transparency and traceability purposes. It also captures perceived impacts of digital technologies on organisational transparency, traceability, and trustworthiness. The data were collected before the implementation or intervention phase of the project and serve as a baseline for later comparison with post-intervention data. The dataset is intended to support analysis of how organisational, technological, and environmental factors shape the adoption and implementation of digital transparency and traceability technologies in agri-food value chains. This dataset will be made openly available upon publication of the associated scientific paper, expected in 29.02.2026.
