This deposit contains the attacker signal and exemplary benign uplink traffic for the attack described in the paper "BlindSpot: Efficient Single-Node Selective Jamming for LoRaWAN" by Vincenz Mechler, Frank Hessel, Matthias Hollick, and Bastian Bloessl. The attack targets the availability of LoRaWAN networks.The attacker signal can effectively prevent the reception of frames from other sources at the gateway by blocking its demodulation paths with bogus frames.A proof of concept implementation can be found in the referenced repository. Provided signal dumps are in cf32 format with a sample rate of 1.8MHz, centered around 867.9MHz.The blinding signal contains exactly one blinding burst and can be repeated to achieve sustained blinding.Benign traffic files are accompanied by a json file for each dumped signal, containing the sent frames per logical subchannel, as well as the duty cycle used to generate the traffic.These files are intended for automatic parsing by the linked implementation.
