Himawari 8/9 Solar Irradiance- Hourly
收藏资源简介:
Satellite data processed by the Bureau in real-time enables detailed analysis of clouds that diffuse incoming solar radiation. Combined with atmospheric moisture, surface albedo and aerosol information, the amount of shortwave solar radiation reaching the earth's surface is calculated. The resulting gridded data is calibrated using observations of solar radiation at high-quality ground-stations operated by the Bureau. This data set provides information about the hourly amount of surface global irradiance, direct normal irradiance, and surface diffuse irradiance in units of MJ/m2 at moderate spatial resolution (0.02 x 0.02 degrees) across Australia. This data set can be used for multiple purposes including meteorology, solar energy and agriculture. Customers intending to use the data for commercial purposes must obtain permission, which is granted through an Access Agreement.
