The oriental fruit moth (OFM) Grapholita molesta (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae) is an important economic orchard pest of stone and pome fruits worldwide. We aim to sequence the genome of G. molesta for genetic, biological and ecological studies, providing information for the management of this pest.
