It causes minimal harm to beneficial organisms such as natural enemies and honeybees, making it a relatively ideal insecticide. The production of Su Niao No.1 adopts the phenylurea-based synthetic route, which features a simple manufacturing process. The yield of the condensation reaction during production exceeds 85%, and the product purity is higher than 96%, resulting in good overall quality. Field efficacy trials conducted in eight provinces and municipalities have confirmed that it achieves excellent control effects on more than ten major pests including Dendrolimus spp. (pine caterpillars), with relatively low control costs.
