Data linked to the Registered Report "Cortical plasticity of the tactile mirror system in borderline personality disorder"

It contains the data of the study obtained from the final sample of 24 patients with borderline personality disorder (BPD) and 24 healthy controls (HC), organized in different folders for the different tasks (i.e., 2-point discrimination task, 2PDT; VTSC; cmPAS). The file code contains info on: - group (SP for BPD patients; SC for HC);- subject number;- order to ensure counterbalanced administration of sessions and tasks (O1: ISI-20 first, 2PDT first; O2: ISI-20 first, VTSC first; O3: ISI-100 first, 2PDT first; O4: ISI-100 first, VTSC first). - session (A: cm-PAS ISI20; B: cm-PAS ISI-100); - time (pre: before cm-PAS; post: after the cm-PAS). The VTSC folder as well as the cmPAS folder contain the logfiles data as produced by E-prime scripts, together with the preprocessed data. The 2-PDT was manually administered. For beach condition (A/B*pre/post), data provides the performance for each distance tested (txt file), and the outcome of the psychometric funcion fitting (csv file and figure in png file). Demographics are reported in the "finalsample_demographics.xlsx" file. Scores at the Questionnaire for Cognitive and Affettive Empathy are reported in the "QCAE.xlsx" file. Scores at the TMSens_Q questionnaire on the sensations induced by the TMS are reported in the "TMSens_Q.xlsx" file.
