资源简介:
This dataset contains documented inconsistency situation descriptions arising in the engineering of complex mechatronic and cyber‑physical systems (CPS) within industrial environments. It comprises 80 inconsistency situations, each captured using the description approach introduced by Voelk et al., 2025.
The dataset originates from three engineering case studies conducted in European industrial settings across three different companies. Each case study was carried out as an independent six‑month project focusing on the documentation of inconsistencies and the recovery of system consistency alongside ongoing engineering activities.
The inconsistency situations were described by long‑term engineering team members through a combination of interviews and workshops involving 2-4 participants per session. The participating companies represent different industries (avionics, mobility, automotive) and different positions within the supply chain (two OEMs and one Tier-1 supplier), ensuring a diverse set of engineering contexts.
All situation descriptions follow a common template. File names are encoded as:
X_Inconsistency Situation_Y
where:
X denotes the case study identifier, and
Y denotes the individual inconsistency situation within that case study.
