As a primary registry affiliated with the World Health Organization International Clinical Trials Registry Platform (WHO-ICTRP) network, this non-profit platform provides free open access to researchers, clinicians and the general public. Prospective registration of all clinical trials involving human participants is a mandatory requirement for trial publication in international biomedical journals.
