Searching for stress inducible architectural noncoding RNAs

This project aims to identify novel noncoding RNAs (ncRNAs) that act as structural scaffold of membraneless organelles in stressed cells. The ncRNAs called architectural RNAs (arcRNAs) exhibit remarkable semi-extractability during RNA preparation. Utilizing this feature, semi-extractable RNA sequencing was carried out using RNAs prepared from heat and osmotic stressed cells to identify novel arcRNA induced under stress conditions.
