p53 drives cytokine expression in melanoma to support proliferation and migration

This study aims to define if p53 in melanoma is playing non-canonical roles. Using RNAseq we find evidence that p53 regulates cytokine signaling in multiple melanoma cell lines. Overall design: Melanoma cells are treated with various p53 activating agents (non-genotoxic, DNA damage) and gene expression measured. P53 is deleted from melanoma cell lines and gene expression is measured.
