The stone is mostly complete at just under 1.5m in length. The carvings are weathered and worn, difficult to make out. One side bears depictions of two animals separated by a tree. The other side has three rows of tegulae, a decorative pattern resembling scales or tiles. The stone probably dates to the 11th century AD. More info: Lang, J., 1975. Hogback monuments in Scotland.
