Plasmodium falciparum Genome sequencing - Bioko Island Equatorial Guinea. Plasmodium falciparum

Study aimed to describe Plasmodium falciparum genetic diversity and structure on Bioko Island, Equatorial Guinea. Whole genome sequences were generated from samples collected during the annual malaria indicator survey conducted by the Bioko Island Malaria Elimination Project (BIMEP). The goal of the study was to describe local transmission dynamics and estimate the influence of importation on the local P. falciparum population.
