Data: the effect of visual perturbation on balance control during walking in older and younger adults

The Vpyoung&old folder contains two subfolders. One with the raw data and one with the necessary scripts to run the analyses. Data is ordered in the subfolder ‘data’. All the information about participant and trial numbers are included in info_subject.xlsx file. The kinematic data for each participant was shown in seperate folder (subject01, subject02, …, subject35). All scripts are located in the 'code' folder: =VU 3D Model=: the somewhat under documented VU 3D model, several functions of which are being used; functions: necessary functions to run the main script; Script: The analysis can be run from the Main_analysis.m script. Sub_traj.m saves kinematic data after procession (reduce noise and interpolation). Main_plot.m plots the figures. Main_LMM.m proceeds linear mixed model and plots the result. All scripts can be ran separately. If you change the name of the folder, make sure to change the name for the directory in this script. All files first check if the product they create already exists. If so, they will not run. If you want to run them anyways, simply inverse the if ~exist statement by removing the tilde, the program will then be executed and the existing product will be overwritten.
