Dutch Compound Climate-Related Terms Taxonomy (2023)

This dataset contains a curated taxonomy of Dutch compound terms related to climate change, derived from a large-scale corpus of Dutch-language Twitter/X posts from 2023. The terminology reflects a wide range of ecological, moral, political, and apocalyptic concepts used in everyday climate discourse. The dataset is designed to support quantitative text analysis, thematic clustering, and discourse-analytic research on climate communication. Each entry represents a naturally occurring Dutch compound (samenstelling) observed within the dataset and catalogued as part of a broader research project on explicit and implicit vocabularies in environmental communication in the Netherlands.
