Information-Based Similarity

IBS is a novel method for comparing time series based on linguistic analysis of "word" frequency and rank order statistics. It has been applied successfully in a variety of applications, including analysis of interbeat (RR) intervals, classification of the SARS coronavirus, and study of literary works of disputed authorship.IBS是一种基于对“词汇”频率及排名顺序统计的语文学分析比较时间序列的新颖方法。该方法已在包括心搏间期（RR间期）分析、SARS冠状病毒分类以及争议作者作品的文学研究等多种应用中取得了成功应用。
