Global soil-P deficits database from 1970 to 2017

We use a soil-P budgets (SPB) method to present a comprehensive assessment of temporal trends in soil-P deficits spanning the period from 1970-2017 for 10 crop categories in 90 countries and regions. Here, P budgets in cropland soil were calculated by summing the P inputs (mineral fertiliser, manure, irrigation water and pesticides) and subtracting the P removed by harvested crops, crop residues and P leaching.本研究采用土壤磷素平衡（soil-P budgets, SPB）方法，对全球90个国家和地区10类作物在1970至2017年间的土壤磷素亏缺时间变化趋势开展全面评估。其中，农田土壤磷素平衡通过以下方式计算：将磷素输入项（矿物肥料、畜禽粪便、灌溉水与农药）相加，再减去收获作物、作物残体及磷素淋溶所带走的磷素量。
