About This dataset contains a harmonized and curated compendium of human blood DNA methylation profiles, designed for large-scale modeling of epigenetic aging. The data were compiled to train and evaluate the REVIVE-Flow model, a foundation model for blood DNAm aging as described in Litman, E. et al. (2025), "REVIVE-Flow: A Foundation Model for Blood DNAm Aging." Data Curation & Source The compendium is a filtered and processed subset of studies aggregated by the MethAgingDB database (Li, S., et al., 2025, Scientific Data). The following inclusion criteria were applied to the MethAgingDB collection to generate this compendium: Organism: Homo sapiens (Human). Tissue: Whole blood, peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs), or other blood-derived sources. Platform: High-density Illumina arrays with >400,000 CpG probes (e.g., Illumina HumanMethylation450K or EPIC arrays). The final dataset comprises 6402 samples from 32 independent cohorts. Data Format The data are provided in CSV format. Each study contains files corresponding to: A matrix of methylation beta-values. A metadata table including chronological age, sex, original study identifier (GEO accession), and other relevant covariates for each sample.
