Temperature (top), salinity (middle), and chlorophyll (bottom) data obtained from a CTD section taken off the coast near Wainwright, AK in the eastern Chukchi Sea. Relevant scientific names for water masses are labeled in the middle panel, while relevant alcoholic parody names are labeled in the top panel. The section was obtained during a northwest transect using a towed SeaSciences Acrobat CTD. The CTD data has not been corrected and the chlorophyll concentrations have not been calibrated against in situ data.
