Acoustic features of Umbrina cirrosa and Ophidion rochei in the Adriatic Sea
收藏资源简介:
This study aims to improve references libraries for fish vocalizations in the Adriatic Sea. Two datasets are presented containing acoustic features of Umbrina cirrosa and Ophidion rochei. Recordings were collected in 2020 off the Natura 2000 site at Mount Conero (Ancona, Italy) on a sandy seabed, using a passive acoustic monitoring approach. Acoustic features include temporal and frequency parameteres of calls for both species; see README file for more details. The Acoustic_Features_Umbrina_cirrosa_2020 dataset comprises 15 variables and 5,777 observations. Of these, 5,589 correspond to individual detected calls, while the remaining observations, where n_call = 0, represent inspected intervals during which no vocalizations were detected. Similarly, the dataset Acoustic_Features_Ophidion_rochei_2020 describes acoustic features of O. rochei and it includes 17 variables and 2,185 observations, of which 2,104 correspond to individual detected calls. Observations with n_call = 0 represent inspected intervals during which no vocalizations were detected. The monitoring effort covered 35 sampling dates between April and September 2020. These datasets provide a baseline for comparing acoustic measurements of the same species across different areas and for future monitoring.
