Human lung adenocarcinoma cells (A549) and human monocytic cells (THP-1) were infected with H3N23 influenza virus A virus. Transcriptome analysis were performed by next generation RNA sequencing of three replicates each for infected A549 cells at 4, 8 and 24h p.i. and infected THP-1 cells at 4, 8, 12 and 24h p.i., and corresponding set of non-infected controls.
