To better understand the market demand for exhaust pipes across different cities, this dataset collects and calculates demand elasticity data related to exhaust pipes from enterprises. If the ratio of the change in exhaust pipe demand volume to the change in its price is greater than 1, the demand for exhaust pipes is deemed price-elastic, meaning that customers are highly sensitive to fluctuations in exhaust pipe prices. The larger the elasticity value, the more sensitive the demand is to price changes. Accordingly, all enterprises in this industry can appropriately lower exhaust pipe prices in the target city to achieve higher revenues. Conversely, if the demand for exhaust pipes is price-inelastic, all enterprises in this industry can appropriately raise exhaust pipe prices in the target city to gain more revenue. This dataset holds significant importance for the marketing decision-making of all enterprises in this industry nationwide. 1. Data Collection: Collect national demand and price data of relevant exhaust pipes over a specific time period, then organize and summarize the data at the municipal level to derive the year-on-year change values of exhaust pipe demand volume and price. 2. Algorithm Rules: Calculate the demand elasticity coefficient using the collected data with the following formula: Demand Elasticity Coefficient (E_d = -frac{Delta Q}{Q} div frac{Delta P}{P}).
