Drop zones for shared bikes and e-scooters registered by Brussels Mobility Drop zones are perimeters where it is permitted to park free-floating bike-sharing vehicles, i.e., free-floating shared bikes, e-scooters, and scooters. Drop zones are marked in public spaces to inform users and raise awareness of the obligation to park their shared vehicle there. The data is managed by the Region for drop zones on regional roads and by the 19 municipalities for drop zones on municipal roads. The data is accessible and can be used by operators of free-floating bike-sharing services via a collaborative platform; the data is updated daily on the platform to ensure better synchronization with the operators’ platforms and interfaces.
