Warm-wet climate reshapes arid lake microbes: Diversity increases despite stability loss with functional compensation

Integrating over six decades of environmental data, a decade of field surveys, and targeted mesocosm experiments in Lake Bosten, China, we reveal that a transition to a warm-wet climate significantly influences microbial community diversity, ecological network structure, and functional potential.
