This is a literary dataset for evaluating pairwise semantic textual similarity (STS) tasks. It contains 41 textual parallels editorially identified by Peter Cochran in his open edition of Lord Byron’s mock epic, Don Juan (1819-24). Human-annotator similarity scores, a Similarity Matrix (metrics), Group IDs, typographical annotations and supplementary notes are included for reference.
