Transcription profiling of wild type and Sox9 knock out mice to study the role of Sox 9 (testis determining gene) after testis induction

To study the role of the testis determining gene Sox9 after testis induction, conditional inactivation of Sox9 was achieved with the help of an AMH-Cre line. Mutant mice are fertile up to about 3 months of age, becoming sterile afterwards. Expression profiles should help to reveal the underlying cause.为探究睾丸诱导完成后睾丸决定性基因Sox9的功能，本研究借助抗缪勒管激素（Anti-Müllerian Hormone, AMH）-Cre重组酶系实现了Sox9的条件性失活。突变型小鼠在约3月龄前可维持正常生育能力，后续则会丧失生育能力。基因表达谱分析将有助于揭示该现象背后的潜在原因。
