Good Clinical Quality Registry Practice Guide

The Good Clinical Quality Registry Practice Guide provides practical guidance for hospital-based Principal Investigators (PIs) and health service staff participating in Australian Clinical Quality Registries (CQRs). CQRs play a vital role in monitoring and improving the quality and safety of health care by collecting and reporting real-world clinical outcomes data. This guide addresses the current lack of generic resources to support site-level participation in CQRs and complements registry- specific training. It outlines CQR functions, site responsibilities, and key considerations to ensure safe, effective participation. Developed with input from experts across the CQR sector, the guide aligns with the 2024 Framework for Australian Clinical Quality Registries.
