CT scans of Tenontosaurus tilletti (OMNH 58340) pathologies

<b>Description:</b> This data set includes CT scans of pathological elements from a single <i>Tenontosaurus tilletti.</i><i><br></i><b>Taxon: </b><i>Tenontosuarus tilletti</i><i><br></i><b>Specimen: </b>OMNH 58340. Collected from Atoka County, Oklahoma. <br><b>File information: </b>These CT scans were performed at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center using a Philips Brilliance 16 slice CT scanner. Metacarpal IV was scanned at 120 kVp and 151 mAs at 16 x 0.7mm slices and reconstructed at 0.35 mm overlapping slices with a high-resolution filter on a 512 matrix. Phalanx I was scanned at 120 kVp and 251 mAs at 16 x 0.7mm slices and reconstructed at 0.35 mm overlapping slices with a high-resolution filter on a 512 matrix. Ribs L7-L10, and R10 were scanned at 140 kVp and 199 mAs at 16 x 1 mm slices and reconstructed at 0.5 mm overlapping slices with a high-resolution filter on a 512 matrix. The individual slices were then compiled into virtual stacks in Fiji and saved as TIFF files.NOTE: In the ribs TIFF file the rib order from left to right is: Left 7 (L7), L8, L9, L10, Right 10 (R10)
