SE.OF Oceanografiska observationer - Strömriktning

Purpose: Observe currents in the sea and improve ocean circulation models. Assimilate and validate models used in SMHI activities such as the NEMO-Nordic maritime circulation model. Unit: Degrees Properties: Measurement of the direction of water from sea-buoys. Once per hour. Some stations deliver data from several levels below sea level. Design: Date, time, value, quality and depth of measurement; Zero degrees means that water flows towards the north, 90 degrees to east and v. The depth of 0 metres represents surface current. Quality codes: Green (G) = verified and accepted values. Yellow (Y) = Grossly controlled values, suspicious or aggregated values. Via a user interface where measurement series can be downloaded for one station at a time Data can be downloaded for the last hour, day or full time series except the last day (historical reviewed) 2. Via a machine-machine solution (carbon flow). Where the same measurement series as above can be obtained as well as real-time data. These are the last hour measurements.
