Expressive Solo Violin

This dataset consists of nine short (approximately one minute each) musical excerpts of solo violin recorded in the same day and setting by a professional violinist. The pieces were chosen from the violinist's repertoire with the intention of providing a wide range of moods and melodies of western classical violin, and were played unaccompanied and without metronome. Each excerpt was performed three times with different directions: once as inexpressively as possible, once as the musician believes they would normally play, and a third time exaggerating all expressive actions. The audio was captured with multiple condenser microphones, one placed at close distance from the violin body, another placed higher, above the musician's head, and a stereo pair about 1m away from the player in an X/Y configuration.本数据集包含九段时长约一分钟的独奏小提琴音频片段，均由一名专业小提琴手于同日同一场景下录制。所选曲目均取自该小提琴手的保留曲目库，旨在涵盖西方古典小提琴演奏中多样的情绪与旋律风格，演奏全程无伴奏且未使用节拍器。每段片段均以三种不同的演奏处理方式录制：其一为尽可能不带情感地演奏，其二为演奏者惯常的日常演奏方式，其三则极尽夸张所有情感表达处理。音频采集采用多支电容麦克风（condenser microphone）：一支近距离贴靠小提琴琴身，另一支架设于演奏者头部上方的高位处，另有一组采用X/Y制式（X/Y configuration）的立体声麦克风对，放置于距离演奏者约1米的位置。
