The production processes for products in the Chinese festive lighting industry are divided into two categories: machined processing and handcrafted processing. This dataset is developed by analyzing processing data of different periods and processes in the production and processing links of the festive lighting industry, aiming to investigate the proportion of input of machined processing and handcrafted processing in the industry's production processes across various periods. Enterprises can combine their own processing methods and order quantities in different periods to derive the proportion of machined and handcrafted input in their production. By benchmarking against industry data, enterprises can balance and optimize the allocation of input between machined and handcrafted processing, adjust their production and operation plans, and reduce production costs. 1. Data Collection: The data is sourced from the Cailian Lamp Platform. We collect and analyze the production dispatching data of enterprises in the festive lighting industry on the platform, including processing type, process, order month, order quantity, monthly process demand, total monthly demand, monthly process proportion, process demand, total demand, process proportion, and other related metrics. 2. Data Processing: Clean invalid order data and their corresponding fields. 3. Algorithmic Processing: Group the data by processing type, aggregate the order quantities, and calculate the corresponding "process demand". On this basis, add the order month classification to obtain the "monthly process demand". The "process proportion" is calculated as ("process demand" / "total demand") * 100. Enterprises can use this proportion to understand the ratio of machined processing to handcrafted processing in their orders, analyze the relative demand and changing trends of the two processing methods, and further gain insights into production trends.
