Systematic under-representation of ERA5 10m wind speeds in the ERA5-Land product undermines wind energy studies

Files are provided for two hourly wind fields: 15-March 2012 at 12:00-noon and 10-September 2015 at 15:00; and from three sources: native ERA5 on N320 grid (‘ERA5complete’), ERA5 at 0.25° resolution (‘ERA5’), and ERA5-Land at 0.1° resolution (‘ERA5Land’),- folder ‘ReproduceInterpolationsERA5Land’, containing all files and Matlab scripts for replicating the results of Figure 5b and Figure SM4.
