Dataset on Digital Competencies and Artificial Intelligence in Latin American Higher Education

This dataset includes responses from university students enrolled in communication programs in selected Latin American countries. The data were collected through a structured questionnaire designed to assess digital competencies and perceptions of artificial intelligence in educational contexts. The instrument was developed based on established theoretical frameworks and was subjected to standard validation procedures. The dataset supports analyses related to the relationship between digital competencies and perceptions of artificial intelligence, as well as comparative studies across different national contexts. All data have been anonymized and are shared for academic and research purposes. The questionnaire used for data collection is included as a separate file within this record.
